YOUTH
Igknite
Igknite is a group for young people aged 11-14 (school years 7-9) meeting on Mondays from 7 - 8.30pm. We spend time looking at the bible, playing games, making things and enjoying ourselves. Once a month we have a Saturday social event.
Knightlife
Knightlife is a group for 14-18 years olds, and meets on Fridays from 7.45-10.00 p.m. at church. It is a place to meet others of similar age and to discuss the message of Jesus in more depth. Knightlifers can expect discussions, talks, relaxed cafe evenings, games and events, as well as regular weekends away. We also meet on Sunday evenings after the evening church service. Knightlife is suitable for any young person who wants to find out more about living as a Christian, and young people can join the Facebook group ‘Knightlife Now!’ to keep up to date with current events.Knightlife Autumn Activities 2011
Hungarton Camp
Hungarton Camp is our annual camp, run jointly with Avenue Community Church, for young people aged between 9 and 18 (school years 4 - 13) split into 3 weeks.
The Camp dates for 2012 are as follows:
Advance (for current school years 10-13) Saturday 21st July – Friday 27th July
Aspire (for current school years 7-9) Sunday 29th July – Saturday 4th August
Activate (for current school years 4-6) Sunday 12th August – Friday 17th August.
The camps have variety of activities including swimming, horse riding, craft, sport, a bouncy castle and games. Each morning and evening the camp meets together to study the Bible, sing, and learn more about Jesus and what it means to follow God today.
