HOME GROUPS
Home groups meet every fortnight with different groups meeting on different evenings. These small groups provide an excellent opportunity to get to know people, study the Bible and pray in an informal atmosphere.
As far as possible, we aim to keep the groups geographical so that they are local groups - this helps practically with mutual caring. The purpose of the groups is to help each individual become more devoted to Christ and thereby strengthen the whole church. There are three principal goals:
- Encouragement - primarily through friendship and hospitality
- Bible study - in order to understand the Bible's teaching and apply it to everyday life.
- Prayer - for one another, for non-Christian friends, and for the church's work of evangelism and world mission.
